Some Sketch Book Material...

I was going through some of my older sketchbooks recently, and I found some location material, I really enjoy on location drawing, its loose and challenging at times which teaches you too really pay attention to detail, and you’re outside in the elements getting some fresh air…

Summer is around the corner so I think I am gonna get my pens, my bike and sketchbook and take a ride to find me some new material… I find it hard to draw with thick gloves on in the winter, and riding a bike in the snow is not the most practical way to travel…

Man I love the heat… Tee’s, shorts and no shoes, maybe flip flops, is the way to go...

Ready For A Bike Ride???

Maybe you should change your top before we head out, it’s a bit chilly!!! Then we could go for a bike ride…

It has been so amazing out, loving the warmth heaps, gonna set up a permanent summer life… Gotta do it.

Mechanical Stuff is FUN

I have something for symmetrical shapes and mechanical parts, I am a sucker for positive and negative space… These are a couple of character I developed from some rough sketches I did from one of my sketch books, I did this in Illustrator, because Illustrator is epic and super fun to use to create awesome symmetrical shapes and mechanical parts… It’s a good time...

PC in the kitchen

This drawing was done in Cairns Australia, this one backpacker had his pc with him and would bring it out every day into the camp kitchen to listen to his metal… He was living out of a camper van…

Just something I thought was different…

I have some interesting drawings from down in Oz…

Up North East Down Under

I did this sketch in  North East Oz at Cape Tribulation on a beach where we camped a night. Was an amazing place to pull over and crash for the night… That whole region is amazing that side where the rainforest meets the ocean… BEAUTY…

I photoshopped the drawing and then removed the original line work… Then played with the colour’s… :)
